how do A pockets fit?

How do the seven A pockets fit if they are 98% cotton and 2% lycra? I can wear a 27/28 in sevens and the A pockets im looking at are a 29. what do yall think? Thanks!

You don't wanna be sizing up 2 sizes in anything.

Fit depends on the wash though... fabric content alone is not very helpful

i have 4 pairs and they all run small... i wear size 30 normally and in A's i buy 32...
I have a pair in the mail that is a 32 A pockets as well so i'm hoping thats a general rule

This is generally true of OLDER A pockets, but definitely not newer ones. Nearly everything runs big now

she's right, SFAM A pockets used to run very small but now they are made true to size. I wear a true 28 in the rigid A's, no need to size up with the ones that were made the past couple years. But older style numbers you might very well need a 29. The only time I size down to a 27 is when they have 2% lycra as they tend to stretch out. The polyurathane stretch doesnt usually give as much, of course it does depend on the wash sometimes. But overall I hope I've given you a better idea on how A pockets fit. They're my favorite SFAM fit, aside from the original Havana flares. And I own a buttload of them, so I should have learned a thing or two on A pockets after all this time & money

love the A's, and I have to agree that they run big. They stretch out a lot too, so they should be really tight at first.

A pockets fit me great. I really like them, but I still like what the Paiges do with your thighs better - more sliming.

I have a few pairs. The newer ones that I just bought were a little big, but I bought my regular size. I have an older pair of windsor wash that run a little small. I usually go off of measurements, but not everyone measures the same.
