hemming question

I just bought a new pair of sevens. Should I wash them before I get them hemmed? If i do will the wash fade?

You should definitely wash them before getting them hemmed. If you wash them inside out in cold water they shouldn't fade. What wash are they?

wash and dry!!!
a few times

i have made this mistake
now i have jeans thati always need to damp stretch for length =(

i may be the only impatient one. but i don't . then again, i dry-clean all my jeans.

I'm rather impatient too. Have never washed before hemming and I've never had a problem...always cold, gentle cyc, woolite.

you should definitely wash them at least twice before getting them hemmed.

they're not going to fade from normal washing.. they're gonna fade w/time, but that's normal.

Yeah, wash 'em....would hate to have you follow the advice of us impatient denim delinquents and have them shrink on ya. I would feel slightly responsible. And we can't have that.
