Men's Relaxed Fit

I was just wondering what is the difference between the relaxed fit, the regular & the slouchy fit. I was looking online for stuff for BF and he told me he didn't like the relaxed fit 'cause it made his legs look huge Is the slouchy anything similar? and are the fits different because of how wide the leg room is ??

Thanks!

Hi there,
The relaxed is cut looser in the thigh than the standard and flynt. I don't know much about the slouchy, but my guess is it's even looser. The descriptions are on the 7FAM website, here is one for the relaxed:

The Austyn in Glykas is our relaxed straight leg jean. A more relaxed version of our Standard, this fit is roomier through the hip and thigh with a true-to-size waist and a straight leg shape

Slouchy actually fits a little more straight. My cousin only wears Slimmys, Slouchys, and Standards and hates Relaxed.

Relaxed is definitely the most generous in the seat and thigh.

Slouchy is definitely slimmer, basically a straight leg, but maybe not as fitted in the seat/upper thigh as the straights or standards.

My DH likes the relaxed, relaxed bootcut, regular bootcut and the A pockets and is ok with the Flynts. The others are all to straight/slim for his taste.

Thanks everyone!
Will raid his closet next time to figure out what they are .. lol

He says he only likes bootcut. I know he owns a pair of Flynts & A-pockets. Are flynts & As cut differently from the other pairs? I want to get him into straights (he claims he looks dumb in them) but I'm not sure what pair to start off with? All the ones I see up on eBay are mostly relaxed and that's why I wanted to see if it really was that big of a difference.

A Pocket and Flynts are both some of the more flared mens styles. Flynts are a little slimmer in the leg area.

Maybe try Nates as a compromise. They are a pretty slim bootcut.
