Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the different types of fabrics used.... cotton/polyester, 100% cotton, cotton/spandex etc.... I've searched through past threads and seen that some 'bounce back' better than others etc, but would like to get people thoughts on the best, worst and in between.

Stretch has more bounce back than rigid (100% cotton) does. Not sure if it depends more on the blend or wash. I'm sure others will be more help on the stretch blends than I will.

For me, 7FAM's poly cotton blends hold their shape a lot better and "bounce back" a lot better. The cotton/poly/XLA blends like soho and lake hollywood are the best for that. I personally find that a lot of their cotton/spandex blends just bag out on me. They usually only go back to their original shape after a trip through the dryer No idea on the rigid washes though

I'll have to go through my collection now, I'm curious whether one particular blend stretches out more than the others. Almost all of mine are stretch (98% cotton/2% other) and I have a few pairs that are very, very stretchy (Sweden, London come to mind first), and some that hold their shape better than the others (Fiji, Vienna), but I don't know if it's on a wash-by-wash basis or if it's the "other" content in the stretch blend (lycra vs. spandex or whatever).

I really like rigid jeans (although my experience with them is quite limited - have one pair that I love and another en route to me). They don't rebound, but they also don't seem to bag out like some of my other pairs do.

Agreen Lauren... my 'old' stretch jeans (pre-baby) were a cotton elastine mix 98/2% and now there are really polyester rich blends. Curious as to how they wear. My indigo A's are polyester and spandex (think?) and stretch hugely but do wash back into shape.
