Hi guys I've never had to personally have any of my jeans hemmed before so I have a question.

I have a pair of Dojos that I purchased secondhand that I need to have shortened about 4 inches. They have never been altered and the hem has some slight wear in the back/bottom most likely from dragging. What is the best way to have these hemmed? I will be taking them to a tailor

you want to keep the original hem unless it is completely trashed so let the tailor know to "keep the original hem" they will know what to do be sure to bring the shoes that you will most likely be wearing so you can try the dojos on for the tailor.
