| | | They look like real S2D Kates IMO, but wait for an expert. They don't print the numbers on the tag anymore.

| | | they are obviously real, and if she read a guide that actually had any recent info, she'd know that the style and cut numbers have not been on the main brown tag for quite some time now |

| | | This happened to me before. They were a super old pair of 7fam. I just took them back. I should have fought it.

| | | Jasmine - I'm not sure what you meant. What happened to you before?
I just checked my 7FAM collection. There are so many variation of the inseams. My other kates don't have the overlock stitching on either side nor do my NYD flip flop As. |

| | | I'm pretty sure Jasmin meant that she had a buyer claim she sold fakes before, the pair happened to be an older style and Jasmin decided to take them back rather than arguing with her though now believes that she should have just fought with the buyer.

| | | The seam finishing is NOT a way to authenticate. there are many types.
that denim digest site doesn't know their ass from their elbow. heck they had to steal their entire TR guide from me. I mean basically verbatim. They have zero idea how to authenticate |

This is what I meant. I sold them on craigslist instead.

| | This is the pictures of the kates in question. She's confused regarding the stitching. Her guides say that if the stitching doesn't overlock, it's a fake.
She's waiting to hear your opinion about this pair.
Thanks for your help. |

| | | Once again "her guides" are the most awful sources i've ever seen, clearly written by people with NO CLUE, and also WOEFULLY OUTDATED.
They are CLEARLY REAL and there's really nothing more that can be said |

| | | No Need To Insult Buyers Hello! It's me...the "psycho buyer." Thanks "Godsgirl" (I thought this too Such a pretty pair! Ughhh psycho buyers. Love God and love others) Better work on loving others more. Just so you all know, anyone who types into google "7 For All Mankind authentic?" comes up with the two guides referenced above. "Authenticate 7 For All Mankind" also comes up with those 2 guides that contain the overlocking stitching examples. They are pretty much the only official guides that come up. They have pictures clearly stating that if your seams are not overlocking, the jeans are FAKE. This is not just one source, but TWO. The average person who is not a denim expert like all of you believes these guides first of all because they are the top two guides that come up, and second of all because the back each other up. Any journalist will tell you if you have a second source to back it up, you can run with it. Until someone comes up with a new guide or corrects this, every buyer you sell to who checks it out on google will believe what I believed. Just because I am investigating whether my jeans are real or not does not make me psycho. Isn't that the only thing you people all do here?? I guess that insult applies to all of you then as well. There's no need to be condescending or insult someone just because they are trying to verify their jeans authenticity. If your whole deal is about authenticating jeans, why not be NICE to the people who need their jean authenticated??? Furthermore, without the "psycho buyers" you people have all sold to, you wouldn't sell any pairs at all. Maybe you should be grateful for buyers! They give you the money to go out and buy your own new pairs. Maybe you should treat them with a little dignity and respect and most of all, kindness...(isn't that your catchphrase godgirl? love god AND OTHERS) Guess not And when they want to know if the jeans they just bought from you are authentic, if you have nothing to hide or defend, why act defensive? Why not just kindly let them know what they can examine and look at to tell that they have a real pair? Inform someone who is uninformed. Why not do it in a kind, confident way, understanding where they're at? Just like you would want to know that the pair you had just bought was real. There's no need to prove how much more you know or how many more pairs you own or call them names. I have decided to keep my jeans (sorry to all of you that wanted them ) and feel good now knowing that everyone has said they bought pairs from Macy's and reputable places that did not have the overlocking stitching, and that the guides everyone on google goes by might not be accurate. That's all I needed to know, but thanks for the insults too. |

| | Listen you. Those jeans are real. I'm sorry that your google search told you that they are not real. People are only being "insulting" as you say it, because you are reading guides that are no longer valid. Your sources are wrong, and this is the place where you should be getting items checked.
I am incredibly grateful for the buyers that give me money for my jeans. I'm glad i can pass on AUTHENTIC items to my buyers. And i know that if the pair in question was authentic, i would send my buyer to this forum to get them checked out.
And i didn't read your entire post so sorry.
