| | | Auth Check [please... come one, come all!] I could not get the photo to load in the previous post. Can anyone help me out with this. I have been assured by several people that these are real, but one person has said fake.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have added the image to photobucket. Please let me know if you need any additional information. http://i470.photobucket.com/albums/r...auth_check.jpg |

| | let me see the size tag. with the numeric font showing. and/or the right back pocket
if Pam were on..she'd tell you right now.
but i'm feeling conflicted now.
i need to see the small maroon size tag to be sure.
the white tag..it's material looks right, but the font is wrong imo. rounded O's, opposed to squared at the corners-a tail on the letter 'u'..and so on.
initially the pocket looked very much wrong..but then you added more pics and they look 'okay'
i dunno...maybe i'm tired. wait.. i know i'm tired
show me the size tag.. i'm going to bed in a minute..so be quick! |

| | | Those are fake IMO. It's a better job than the usual studded MNE pockets but they still look really off to me. The inside tags are wrong and the whole waistband construction is off. Just IMO .. wait for Pam!

| | OP will not stop PM'ing me, and doesn't seem to want to believe these are fake. They were bought a Nordstrom allegedly, and her friend insists they're real and we can't tell from photos So here, i'll bump this for the masses... as if we needed any more statements as to whether these are fake |

For the record, OP, here is a REAL white tag. Can you honestly not see the difference? |

| | | OP.. please look at the font on both tags.
clearly..you should be able to spot the difference...as every letter and number do not match that of a real tag. |

| | | I have looked at several other websites, measured tags, and counted hem stitching. I can honestly say that I think this whole thing is crazy. Rest assured that I will NEVER post here again, nor will I trust ANY of the information here. ALL BEWARE! |

| | | Oh goodness. What other websites would those be? Hem stitching is completely irrelevant to authenticating. Enjoy your fakes... i don't know what else to tell you |

| | | PM from the OP
"Well, its nice to know that you feel this way. After doing some searching on ebay and what not, it looks like you make a business out selling these. Maybe you just want a corner on the market? I have searched you site in depth and I have to say, yall all look like a bunch of Barbie crazies that have not "credentials" to certify you assumptions. I will be contacting 7FAM about this to get their oppinion."
Thanks OP. I happen to make my money as a DOCTOR of dentistry, not by selling a handful of pairs as a hobby.
My reply:
"LOL. One could hardly corner a worldwide market by selling a handful of pieces a month. I am paypal qualified as an expert to write letters of authenticity for those involved in disputes over fakes. I also have many contacts at 7 For All Mankind, and have been personally commended by them for my efforts here and around the web. I'd gladly have given you one of their email addresses and they could easily have verified for you that these are counterfeit. However, I am not inclined to help you any further given your nasty attitude.
I fail to understand your hostility. We are all trying to help you, and are telling you the truth. I would like nothing more than to help you get your money back for these. I don't understand why you are taking it seemingly personally that you got duped. Unfortunately probably 1/3rd or more of the people on this site ended up here because they too were once victims." |

| | Why is it that you are being rude to the people taking time out of their day trying to help you and answer your questions. Have you ever heard the saying Dont bite the hand that feeds you? I would think that you would be gratefull that you now know that your jeans are indeed FAKE. And if you intend on never posting here again, why are you still online??? I guess NEVER came sooner than you thought!

| | ok, let's go through these:
#1 - 7FAM's own site is woefully outdated, and in very little detail. "The top label is a small red/maroon-colored label with the pant size written in gold stitching. Under the size label is a large beige label containing the 7 For All Mankind logo at the top followed by the style number, the content, the wording "Made in USA of Imported Fabric", a cut number and lastly the words "See care on reverse." Beneath the size and care label is a small security label." Besides, if you went by this info alone, where is the "large beige label"? Yours doesn't have that. Neither does a single pair in the store now, because 7 does not use those anymore. Nor have they always. They used white paper tags as well. Now they are dark brown. And there is no 3rd tag security label anymore either.
2) How To Tell Authentic Seven For All Mankind Jeans From The Fakes | Denim Digest - Designer Jeans News, Reviews and Photos This site has no clue, and also stole all their True Religion guides and photos from ME
3) "Check the cut number on Bianca’s site. The site is listed as a Sticky and is a list of common FAKE cut numbers. *Just because the cut number is listed on their, doesn’t mean it’s fake (the cut number had to come from a real pair!), and if it’s NOT listed, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s authentic* " Have you looked on this guide referenced? You'll find that cut number on there. Additionally, once again why don't you compare the white tag shown there to yours. NOTHING alike | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
