I can't find where it says that they use USPS. If so, it doesn't make sense to me for them to charge an 18% surcharge for taxes and brokerage, since this is always collected COD by Canada Post....does USPS act as or require brokering agents? Pretty sure CBSA does this.

Hey Shana, I have an update for the list!

Shopbop.com is now FREE to Canada (no minimum). The shipping is UPS Worldwide Saver Express. You will pay taxes and applicable duties but NO BROKERAGE FEE. I spoke with a UPS rep and ONLY ground methods charge brokerage, all air methods are brokerage-free.

For example, my purchase was approximately $400CDN and the taxes/duties were $50. Not bad considering FREE shipping and the item was in a huge box (heavy items).

Does anyone know how Threadless.com ships to Canada? Their FAQs are not that clear to me, but could be just my brain not processing info.
What do they mean by Mail Innovations by UPS that uses local postal service? Are there any associated or surprise fees?
