I get a lot of questions about how to re-size and post pictures in sale threads, and I notice a LOT of pictures that are not re-sized in sale postings and that makes it very difficult for buyers! Here are instructions on how to add pictures to your post. I am using imageshack, but you can use any other image-hosting site you like (flickr, webshots, photobucket, etc.) 1) go to ImageShack® - Hosting 2) Click on the "Browse" Button and find the picture you want to upload. If it has NOT already been resized, click on the checkbox to the left of "resize image?" and from the pull-down menu, select the "640 x 480 (for message boards)" option.
 3) Click on the "host it!" button.
4) On the next page, you'll see a bunch of options for posting your picture. If you want to use imageshack's code, highlight the code in the "Hotlink for forums (1)" option and paste that code into your AF window. After you submit your post, the pictures will appear.  5) Another option for adding a picture is to put the URL for the picture in between the [img] and [/img] tags. For this option, copy the "direct link to image" text and put it in between the [img] tags. For example:
[img]http://imageshack.us/urlofpicture.jpg[/img ]
Voila! That should be it. If you have any questions, let me know. Always re-size your pictures when posting in the Mall!
The above instructions also work if you want to post pictures in any other thread or if you want to add an avatar! Just host it on imageshack and link to it  |

Flickr resizes the photos for you into large, medium, and thumbnail.
After you upload your photo, click on it. You will be given the link for all 3 sizes. Simply copy the URL, then paste it between the following tags:
[img]PASTE LINK HERE[/img] or use the little mountain with a sun icon above the reply box. That's the image insertion icon, and you can paste the URL in the box that opens and it will essentially insert the tags for you so you don't have to, and then the image will appear in the post and not have to be clicked on. |

really really try to get picture s sorted without attaching etc but it just does not work.
been doing it fot 4 hours now and ready to give up! can somebody give me a excample what it should look like becouse i just get

| | i give up! i typed [img] and [/img] so often now and i never see it back in my messages. you said yes thats is fine you just need to put it in between [img] but i already did that in my message but never shows.
got headache now! and yeh i knew i did mistake by whole album..... been at it to long.

| | | You are doing everything right EXCEPT you are not taking the url off the image correctly, so you are NOT putting the RIGHT THING between the [img] brackets! Right click on the picture in your album. Click copy image location OR properties, that will show you the image's individual url too |
