| | Okay, my son got up this morning and started playing Halo 3 multi-player (8am to now 3:30pm Pacific Time). Should I intervene? He did stop to eat lunch and practiced his violin.

lol thats nothing I have friends who played till like 4 am, then got up at 6 to play more halo 3 before school started the night after it came out. There have also been a few red bull 12+ halo 3 parties. Its a good game, but come on
You may want to intervene if he starts ignoring his work, but the "I need to play more this game right now!" effect always wore off within a few days when I was a kid. If he stopped to practice without you having to tell him it sounds like your in ok shape as he's still using his head, unlike some of my idiot friends.
Them-"Dude, we totally played halo for like 8 hours non-stop! "
Me- "Why are you proud of that? " |

| | | I run a couple of forums and for forums that get 100+ active users, you should really consider getting your own dedicated server.
It'll cost more, but the ads running should more than cover the costs |

It'll cost more, but the ads running should more than cover the costs | Unless you mean 100+ concurrent users (and even then), then a dedi. server is waaay overkill for activity like that. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
