You can change that in your user cp under edit options...the max threads per page is 40.

ETA: Just realized you're probably talking about the posts, not replies :P

I voted yes.

I also think it would be nice of the threads were thinner (in width from top to bottom). Does that make sense? I'm talking about when you click on a section, and you're looking at all of the threads within that section. I have my monitor set at 1280 x 1024 and it would be nice if I could see more threads on my monitor.

You can minimize sections you don't read but yeah, they're very spaced out =(

I was just informed by advan that you can change the # of posts per page!

Here's the link....just go to where it says THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS and then "Number of Posts to Show Per Page"....you can change it to up to 40!

I vote yes & more than 40 per page, cuz I'm hella lazy about clicking. Maybe make it another option on the edit page.

Try experimenting with the thread display mode. Click User Cp > edit options > Thread display mode.

Linear mode(oldest first)- In this mode, the posts are displayed chronlogically from oldest to newest. Post are shown in what is known as flat mode so that many posts can ve viewed at the same time.

Linear mode (newest first)- This is the same as linear mode, except the posts are in the opposite order.

Threaded mode- In this mode, a tree view is shown along with every post in a thread. This view allows the reader to see the relationship between the posts, in terms of who responded to which post. I this display mode, only one post is shown at a time.

Hybrid mode- This mode is a mixture of the linear and threaded modes. The post tree is displayed as iin the threaded mode, but multiple posts are displayed simultaneously as in the linear modes.

Hope this helps

AF is going to leave this setting at 25 post per page for now. Remember, not all computers are created equal. By increasing the post per page, you decrease your refresh/load time. You can always go User CP > Edit options > Post per page and edit this setting to 40 max.
