Weird tracking issue

I have an eBay purchase that was marked delivered on 2/17 but I haven't received anything. I live in an apartment building and we have a package room when any deliveries get signed for and sorted, so I guess there is a chance that it was given to the wrong apartment, but it is a really big box so it would be hard to make that kind of mistake. Is it even possible that the USPS or seller screwed this up some home? I'm not sure how to proceed.

USPS may have delivered it to the wrong address. It only shows the zip code that it was delivered to on the DC, not the address so if there was an error on the address or USPS delivered it to a similar address, that may have happened.

I have had packages delivered to me before that were not my address/name. I have tracked down the correct address and delivered them to the right person. If someone wasn't as honest, then it may very well be that they received your package and kept it.

Have you talked to the PO about it and/or whoever handles your deliveries at your apartment?

I'm not sure why someone else would want a gigantic dog playpen
Ugh this sucks! I have talked to the package room but they are very unhelpful. I guess the next step would be contacting the PO? Worst case scenario, is this something eBay/Paypal would help with?

I recall this happening before with a Revolve package of yours...you posted pics of the Revolve item, so what ended up happening there? Just thinking it could be the same thing?

Yea it was a similar issue. The package actually showed up about 2 days after the tracking marked it as delivered. I don't know whether my apartment building or the USPS is to blame.

It is something you need to take up with the PO. Although they aren't usually much help. But maybe they actually left a notice that it is being held at the PO and you need to go get it. I have had that happen before (shows delivered but it is at the PO). I would go in rather then call.

It's not your Seller's fault so doing anything as far as making a claim through ebay/paypal would be out of line and you wouldn't win anyway since it shows delivered.

Agree with Amber except that it's a seller's fault if they didn't put the address correctly. That happened to me once. The handwriting was so bad that I couldn't read it myself. Not to mention that this box was literally covered with other people addresses. So, I have no idea how this box finally found a way to my house more than a month later.

I would also verify with the seller that the address they put on the box is the correct address unless they used PP to print out the label

Ugh so problem solved...My stupid package room marked my package as for my neighbor instead of me. No one would have ever figured it out if it weren't for my boyfriend going down and literally pointing to each oversized package and asking them to check who it was for. Fucking idiots.
