Ebay return question:
I recently had a top up for auction on Ebay. The seller paid on the 14th. As I was giving top a last look-over while preparing it for shipment, I noticed a small hole on the sleeve. I never noticed the hole before, as the top is a lacey kinda crochet like material.
I immediately sent an email to the buyer letting them know and apologizing for the mistake. I offered them a partial refund if they still wanted to purchase the top, and (obviously) a full refund if they wanted to cancel the transaction.
I have yet to hear from the buyer and am wondering how long I should give it before just going ahead and refunding them the whole thing. I'm leaving town for Thanksgiving in a few days & want to make this right.
