Help On APO Address

Has anyone ever shipped to APO Addresses? Does this one look legitimate? That is how it exactly looks.

J**** J****
rso/dss/tc
APO, AE 09348 APO/FPO

I am a little nervous considering I have never shipped to these addresses before and the item is a very expensive item.

Apo just means army Post office. It's a military address over seas. The cost to ship will be like sending from state to state. It should be fine but you should send priority with confirmation and insurance. Do not put tracking as it won't work. Also, express or priority mail is the best way to send it because anything slower can take 2 months. Hope that helps.

^^^Thanks so much. I was worried because I read that there was no delivery confirmation to these addresses. So, delivery and confirmation is an option at USPS?

Few other questions and I'll stop bugging you. Does the AE Stand for the African military base? I'm so stupid when it comes to any international address.

I'm not positive but it might mean Europe. I'd have to check with my husband and get back to you. They might have more information about that on the USPS website too.

AE - Europe, Middle East. Africa. Canada
(Zip codes beginning with 090 through 098)

You will also have to fill out a customs form. The post office can help you with that. I have shipping to a lot of military addresses and have never had a problem.
