Safe Methods of Payment Outside of Paypal?

I have a potential international buyer (Greece) who wants to buy a pair of DSquared jeans I have listed, but doesn't have a paypal account. I'm naturally suspicious. However, it would be nice to sell them so if there is a safe way to do the transaction, I might be tempted.

Is there a safe way to do this outside of paypal? I've never done an auction without paypal so I'm not sure. If I'm not completely covered, I think I'll pass. I'm not risking an item of this quality.

Bank transfer, western union(or some other kind of money transfer where you are getting cash) is pretty much what I would accept if they cannot do paypal. Those 2 types of payment are actually much safer for the seller. Once the money is in your account or you have collected it from WU the buyer has no recourse to get it back.

PayPal isn't really that safe at all. They would like you to think they are the "safest" method of payment but if the buyer decides to scam you in any number of ways it won't be a problem for them.
