QUESTION..INR dispute filed need advice. ****UPDATE****

I know that it has probably been said before and I apologize for asking again.
I sent an item the 21st of Aug, buyer now files INR. Customs number shows it was ACCEPTED at my Post office. I sent a nice email to here, but basically said there is nothing I can do..I am not the post office! ARRRGGHH! Should I just go ahead and escalate? Will I win? She did it through paypal and apparently stated that ebay wont even let her contact me! Probably because not enough time has passed. This stinks...any advice appreciated, thanks! Oh, and if I do win, when will they release the funds? Was it Mike who said it can take up to a month or more? I think I read someone got there's back within a week or so? I have load of funds in PP as I was saving for a mini vacay to the twin cities with my daughter and them holding INTERNATIONAL shipping funds just BITES!

Thanks again!

Talked to eBay first...said to call PayPal, they were very nice, even mentioned Australia had a strike at one point? So PayPal agrees with me, says it is too early to even tell, the dispute process gives 20 more days and that he will send my buyer an email stating he knows the item was shipped and has the customs number to prove in hopes we can get the dispute closed sooner than later. Now I wait. At least "Dick" at PayPal was cool....Pretty sure it will show up as it has only been 21 business days.

And now you are, and will have no accurate acceptable (for Paypal)tracking showing delivery to the door of your recipient.

Sorry.

What ebay told you is nonsense and misguided. The simple fact is this... proving you shipped something is not what is required of you, in the eyes of both paypal and the LAW. You are required to DELIVER the item. You have selected a shipping method that offers no possibility of ever proving you have done this. You lose. Kiss the money goodbye unless you have a buyer who is actually honest and the item does in fact eventually arrive. In my recent experience though, I have shipped several priority packages to australia in the last month or 2 (completely at my own risk, insured with u-pic), and they have taken no more than 2 weeks.

Just wanted to thank you for mentioning U-PIC...I did not know about that site prior to your post. I have not heard from the buyer yet, and obviously gotten over the money. I did have a buyer just 2 days ago receive their item (UK) that was shipped 2 days before the buyer in question so maybe I will get lucky. Anyhow, thanks again for mentioning U-PIC..I have used it a few times recently for items that were already being bid on/and or sold with Priority mail shipping and I feel a little more confident at least knowing won't be out the entire amount should a situation like this arise again.
