Delayed payment penalty

I won a few auctions from the same eBay seller seven days apart. I need to pay for the first one today, but the last one isn't showing up in the combined shipping. It is usually automated.

Since it's already the 7th day from the first auction, will I be penalized if I wait for the seller to reply - regardless if s/he agrees to combine the shipping for all items? Or should I just pay for the first set of auctions? What is the possible penalty?

If you've contacted her, and requested the total, I would just wait a bit. She can't even complete a non paying bidder case until its been another 8 days, so you should have time for her to get back to you with the updated total. I'd send her another message Monday, and nicely ask if she could send you the updated invoice.

Remember that you also get another 7 days to pay after the seller files a NPB. So at that point you can contact the seller again through eBay and tell them that you need an updated invoice.

Actually, a seller can start an unpaid item dispute as early as 4 days and close it within 4 days now, too.
What to do when a buyer doesn't pay (unpaid item process)

Really I wouldn't worry, I don't think the seller is going to open an unpaid item dispute if you have sent a message letting them know you're planning to buy multiple items and want to wait for a combined invoice.

Thanks guys. Usually I pay immediately after the auction ends, so I don't have to worry about any of this!
Their policy is to combine shipping for items won within the first 7 days of the first item being won, but now that I look at the timestamp, I think my last item was like 20min after the deadline if 7 days actually = 24hr x 7 days.
