Is there any place where we can post for specific things we're looking to buy so that members who might be getting rid of things, cleaning closets, etc...might be able to PM for a direct sale before listing in the mall?

I sometimes see mentions on different posts, but maybe an area in the mall where members can post certain things they want.

Like I'm always on the prowl for Kids TR.
Or should I just post a thread in the TR forum?

And if I have something that I see someone wants, is it okay for me to PM them directly?
Just asking because I belong to another forum where that's completely not allowed.
