NIcker is sad cause his ultimatums are too big..... i didnt think they were this big 3 weeks ago when i bought them but now i get them back from the tailor, i am sad..... oh well ... guess these will be my fatty jeans lol at least only 109.00 was paid for them... i would have sized down from my henlee size but this was the only pair of ultimatums in the NR and they were my usual size...
yes I am always at work .. and i would size down but sadly my tailor didnt do the usual fold hem she cut the jeans and used the regular hem ... since im short they wouldnt sell well.... 30.6 or so inseam.... i will just buy another pair at a later date but what do you think??? Too big to casually wear when i just wanna be comfy ?
Yeah, they look fine, they could be sized down, but they fit fine. Are you sure they are Ultimatum though? Something about them doesn't look right for Ultimatum. Maybe it's the hue to the picture.
If my $.02 means anything, they look fine to me in the waist/hips but kinda get big at the knee break. I don't think they stand out though as being way too big, I'd rock 'em just like that if I owned those..., just sayin, everyone's different.
Ditto. I feel like people on this forum are sometimes (despite recent history) too afraid of being critical, even in a polite and constructive way.
I mean, the title of the thread is BUMMER and it begins "NIcker is sad cause his ultimatums are too big" -- obviously it isn't a plea for people to post "you look amazing in them!"
You can rock them if they're comfortable; they could always be your "mess around the house" jeans. But as far as ideal fits go, this doesn't really fit the bill.
I would try and sell them. It's obvious you are not happy with the fit. That's what is most important. Neil Ultimatum are highly sought after. Even with a short inseam you should be able to find a buyer.
i think ill post them up and see what happens.... if i can make what i paid for them i will sell them if not , i will keep them and wear on those blah days were i wear loose jeans and a hoodie!
Perhaps this is not applicable in this particular situation but I would just note that everyone's idea of optimal fit can be significantly different.
Personally (and most members of this forum) would consider these jeans way too big however I would also personally find OP's shirt 3 sizes too big as well.
yeah thats true too..... I wear my polos big , mostly because they are golf dry fit polos so i wear them when i play golf so i like the bigger fit to tuck them and to be loose to so i can move around and what not....
and of course 3 sizes is a bit of an exaggeration since the shirt is an xl and my arms /shoulder wouldnt ever fit in a small or med
You pay the extra money for the premium denim fit so it is kind of a waste of money if they don't fit like they are suppose to. In the end it is up to you, but I wouldn't pay $110 for a pair of jeans that fit like a pair of old navy jeans.
PS Don't you wear jeans that are 4 sizes too big Badolzon? Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I don't think RR's were made to be worn that way.
edit: I just took a look at your sig and noticed that your most wanteds were in a size 38. You don't look like a size 38 according to your pics.
well i have said it before .... henlee's and floyds fit alot better in size 38... these ultimatums are neil. I can wear a 36 in almost all the waist but why i size up is because my tree trunk legs... I played too many sports and have fairly large thighs and if the jeans are tight in the thighs then i am miserable all day .... http://www.authenticforum.com/rock-republic-jeans/131628-yay-arion-pics.html
I HAVE a pair of 34 jeans I mistakenly bought like 2 years ago that fit me alright, but I wore them maybe 2-3 times?
I usually wear fitting jeans, but IMO jeans shouldn't be ass-tight.
They should be slim around the thighs, and leave a little scrunch around the knees/ankles.
That = best looking jeans.
I agree on the "good fit for a lot of money" ideal.
If you're gonna buy 300 dollar jeans, make sure they fit.
These, on the other hand, fit him nicely.
