FIBERWIG -- mascara + lengthener

I bought this from Sephora just because I didn't believe it was possible. This is a mascara with these tiny nylon fiber thingy's in it. It actually lengthens your lashes dramatically! The little fibers attach to your lashes and make them longer! Very cool product that comes with a cute, pocket sized eyelash curler!

A++++++

Sephora: Imju Fiberwig Long Lash Kit ($27 Value): Combination Sets

Yahh it definitely works. But I wear contacts, and the fibers fell into my eyes sometimes. Very irritating, so I returned it. Maybe another reason I returned it was because it killed my curl. not sure.
I might give it a second chance.

How was the DVD?

I saw this on the home shopping channel the other night and wondered if it actually worked. I may have to try it now.

i have this and really like it because it does do a great job lengthening...but i have the same problem with the fibers getting in my eye and irritating my contacts. It's also a little more difficult to remove than other mascaras IMO.

The DVD shows you have to apply it PROPERLY and remove it properly. To remove, you just wet your eyes (closed) with warm water and wiggle your fingers on your lashes. It peels right off and your eyelashes stay on. IMO, its very easy to remove if you follow the directions!

The lash curler works great if you use it before you apply the product. I don't wear contacts, but I experienced no flaking and I have worn it in 90+ degree heat with high humidity.

I think the key is applying it properly and the DVD shows you how to do it.

I think I probably aggravated the flaking because I tend to rub my eyes a lot...whoops!

^I think that rubbing your eyes would promote flaking!

I have tried this and then I tried the Fusion lash and I like the fusion one much, much better! It is pricey at 39.00 though.

I'm rotating between Fiberwig and LashBlast - I like the Fiberwig best - definitely a keeper!

i LOVE fiberwig. definitely a keeper, along with Diorshow. you can find cheaper fiberwig on eBay from overseas sellers, since Imju Fiberwig originated in Japan. My rents bought me a ton when they went to Japan during Spring Break and they were equivalent to about $10 over there!

I tried this and didn't think it was worth 21 bucks. And when you remove it it seems to come off in a long string...weird.

Shisedo (sp?) the base is the best for length for me.

ITA! I bought this and felt it was a total waste. It didn't thicken my lashes at all IMO.

I tried this and it got all in my eye. Didnt like it at all, now i have switched to prescription eyelash growth which grows my eyelashes thicker, longer and darker.
