| | | Ped Egg It only takes my feet a week to become horribly dry & cracked in spring/summer when I start wearing sandals full time. I've always had to use a really rich body butter every night & then wear socks.
I bought this at Walgreens on a whim.
It looks like a cheese grater, but don't let that scare you. After one treatment (2-3 mins per foot) the dead skin was almost completely gone. If you've seen the commercial, they open up the egg and pour out a shitload of dead skin. That's exactly how it is, which is kind of awesome yet truly disgusting. Ped Egg Official Site, As Seen On TV
You can order additional "cheese graters" for when the original wears out.

| | | You have to rub it the length of your foot...I press pretty hard, too. It also said to do it slow, but I did it fast. But my feet were really dry. |

| | I may have to give this a try. I need to get my feet ready for strappy shoe season!
Has anybody else tried it yet?
A really great product I've used is Kerasal One Step Exfoliating Moisturizer Therapy ointment. I put it on at nite with cotton socks & within a week my feet are super soft. It even softened up my callouses! Kerasal - Foot Care, soften the toughest, driest feet. |

| | | I've actually really been wondering about this...I have to pumice for 5+ minutes a day so anything quicker than that would be awesome! I will definitely see if I can find it near me.

| | In Pam's immortal words. Holy fuckery!
I had to empty the thing like 5 times. There was a buttload of dead skin on my feet that I didn't even know it was there.
I was skeptical at first. I went to Walgreen's to pick up some mouthwash and saw a display full of these eggs. I said, oh what the hell, Charlotte gave it 5 stars.
The amount of dead skin that was shaved off was pretty nasty. I still have more to shave off too. My heels are a little sensitive now so I decided to wait a couple of days before I do it again.
No freaking doubt in my mind that this is one of best products I have seen in a long, long time.
5 Stars fo sho.
I almost took a picture of the shavings but decided not to do it because it freaking grossed me out.

I paid 9.99 for mine. I'm going get the extra set of blades (3) for 9.99. This product is pretty amazing for the price.

| | I absolutely loathe crusty feet therefore, I use a pumice stone EVERY DAY. Sometimes, twice a day! Those blade things scare the crap out of me!

| | | ^Yes, the blade does look scary, but its no more abrasive-feeling than a pumice stone.
Also, I should add that my mom found this in a Grocery Outlet store for $6.99. I don't know if its a nationwide chain, but there are lots of them here in WA. |

| | The Ped Egg is awesome! I love it Liz, it is not abrasive AT ALL. I just spent the last 10 minutes using it It's incredibly addictive. I pumice my feet several times a week while I'm in the shower, and honestly, I think the Ped Egg works a lot better!! I love it

| | | I've seen the commercials about this and have been curious about whether it works, but was also scared about the blade and that it may hurt me or take too much skin off? I know in the commercial it shows that it won't pop that balloon, but I was still skeptical. It's good to hear that it works well and isn't painful. I may have to try one. |
