| Inglot's Under Makeup Base Inglot's primer is a clear, silicone gel. It feels like MAC's Matte but thicker. It's not silicone-based, it is silicone. It spreads beautifully while smoothing the texture of the skin and giving it a matte look. It claims to absorb sebum as well as extend make-up wear.
I used a drop smaller than a pea and only applied it to my T-Zone. It spread and spread and spread.
I have really large pores. Usually I use a creamy concealer over the largest-pore areas (between brows, on my nose and on my cheeks close to the sides of the nose) before applying a powder or mineral foundation. Today, I just tried the primer as my pore-spackle instead of concealer.
It worked! My Glo Minerals went on smoothly and evenly. Did it absorb oil? At first it did, but this primer was no match for my freakishly oily face. But....instead of having a glossy sheen as my face usually does, I have ...well, sort of a glow. It looks beautiful. Radiant. Not to mention that my make-up hasn't budged. I've had it on for hours now and I've not blotted. I'm shiny, but not shiny-shiny.
