Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara

This stuff isn't out in all markets yet.

I really like this after it dries out a little (maybe a week). It's a huge and unwieldy tube and brush, you get used to it though. For 5.99 it's a huge bargain, I would compare it to Diorshow but with less clumping.

I've tried Covergirl's other mascaras with the rubber spiky brush but the volume this one gives blows those out of the water.

I can't find the ingredients anywhere on the web, I'll post them if I ever do find them.

My mom bought this and really likes it. I was hesitant to try it b/c most drugstore mascaras make my lashes clump, but the brush looked like it might be good. I need to try this out now.

Any lash dryness or loss? Most cheap mascaras do that to me

I've never had that problem with any mascara. That would suck.

I bought this about a week ago, and so far so good. It thickens, lengthens, and seperates. It washes off with soap and water, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems such as lash loss, etc. I do notice that in the morning, if I don't wash it off at night, that it is a bit crumbly bits on my under-eye area. But all in all it is better than the Lancome Definicils I was using. Thanks for the suggestion!

I love this stuff. I totally agree with what everyone has said about this stuff. I don't think that I can live without it anymore.

Do not like. After I looked everywhere to find the waterproof version, I just really kinda hate it.

The brush being blunted on the end makes it really tough to apply to corner lashes and it clumps like crazy! The brush just does not separate. Me and my lash comb become good friends when I use this.

*sigh* The hunt continues for a mascara that's just as good as DiorShow. For now, I'll stick w/ Voluminous.

Ok I have used this a number of times, so I think it's time to review:

This mascara will go against you if you apply it normally. I had to completely change my mascara application technique to make this work like it advertises.

Old technique: The good ol' wiggle at the roots and swipe. Yay lots of volume!
NOT with Lashblast.
New technique: Open. Gently "roll" brush on a tissue. Why? Because of the FATTY brush and odd shape, there is A LOT of product on it. Too much product equals clumps. Avoid scraping/rubbing, that will get tissue fibers all over the brush. And if you put the brush back in, there will be more clumps. (I hate doing this btw, so much wasted mascara )
Now... do not wiggle at the roots! Yes, everything says that it give volume, but with this plasticy brush, it will be a mess. Ironic huh. So position brush at roots and swipe. Swipe swipe swipe until you're satisfied.

It certainly made some lashes I didn't even know existed pop out. Andddd.... yeahh...

4/5 stars. 1 star off because I had to figure out a new way for this to work.

Yeah i've kind of taken the same approach when using it. Its hard to keep it from clumping and hard to get in the corners. I use my dior show first then i add a coat of this on top. Thats about as good as its going to get with this stuff i guess.

I tried this for the first time yesterday. There were no clumps and it separated my lashes rather than making them stick together. So I had a nice fan of lashes intstead of having spider looking lashes. First I just brush it on then do a little wiggle to separate them. It does not leave my lashes feeling heavy or sticky. I like it so far.

I bought this mascara. Yes, the wand is going to take some getting used to as it is HUGE. I can't rave about the mascara yet because it hasn't done anything for me. At this point, I love Loreal Telescopic way better but I am not giving up on the Lash Blast just yet.

The brush on this was way too bulky for my liking. Cover Girl makes this other mascara, Lash Exact, that comes in a purple tube with the same type of rubber brush but like Charlotte said it doesn't compare in terms of volume. It does give awesome length though and it's much easier to handle!

Too many clumps for me I tried LashExact previously (could be the same mascara but the brush is thinner, a more normal size) and like that much more than LashBlast.
