If I put that stuff in and then straighten my hair, it stays perfect all day. I give it a 5 out of 5. |

| | The best that i have ever used is Aveda's Light Elements Smoothing Fluid. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. I have thick hair and i dont have to use a ton of this to get my hair smooth and get rid of the frizzies and flyaways.
The worst i have ever used was something from Paul Mitchell. Gloss drops maybe? It made my hair really oily looking instead of shiny. |

| | | Beyond the \Zone Frizz Zapper, in Salons and Sally's.
It gets 4/5 because it works great, goes in easy, and makes my hair shiny as the sun, BUT you cannot use it in dry hair.

I highly recommend Aveda Hang Straight to you though if you want to get your hair extrememly straight. |

| | | I have Biosilk and I've been using it for awhile but I've found that a lot of times it makes my hair look greasy instead of smooth and shiny. I give it 3/5 stars.
The other one I've used is TIGI Girltoys...smells great and doesnt give me the greasy look. 4/5 stars. |

| | I like Kiwi hi.illuminator polish. I use it after I've straightened my hair and it definitely adds shine and makes my hair feel silky. I'd give it 5 stars. I can't remember how much it cost but I bought mine at Trade Secret.
I almost forgot to add that it smells really good!

| | i have used john frieda in the past but found it to be too heavy for my liking.
i have thick hair, and i've used this product with both long and short hairstyles: biolage smoothing serum
it's much lighter weight than john frieda but still gets the job done, and to me that's easier to work with because i can distribute much more evenly. it smells great, leaves hair super soft and soooo shiny, and no frizz! it also comes in a larger size than john frieda does, though i forget how many ounces.
definitely *****

| | | CHI Silk Infusion-- 4 out of 5...
It makes my hair very smooth and shiny, but like Biolage, I avoid putting it on my roots.

| | Pravana Straightening Cream. It makes my hair REALLY soft. I wish I had Pravana shampoo & conditioner too-I bought the cream from my hairdresser because she used it on my hair the first time I went to her, and she uses the shampoo and conditioner too and my hair is always SO soft after a haircut. Pravana Straightening Creme 10oz
I used Samy Smooth serum or whatever and it made my hair greasy. I might have just used too much though, I don't really remember. |

| | I am using the Aveda's Light Elements Smoothing Fluid and i must agree with Frisky, it is the best! My hair looks shiny and smooth and feels so soft. It even takes away the flyaway hairs. I love it!

| | Bumping this.
I'm now using:
Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother
I am getting amazing results from it. I have really fine hair, that I style straight to wavy. I'm getting comments that my hair is shiny, and just overall looks healthy.
I used to use the Chi Silk Infusion, but I'm switching full-time to this. The Chi was too hit or miss whether my hair would be weighed down or look greasy.

I love it but if I use too much my hair feels sticky so I have to be careful. I also use the Aveda Hang Straight before I blow dry so if you get a chance try that too. |

| | Charla, I struggle with what to use with my fine hair. This is the only thing so far that doesn't weight it down.
Do you find the Hang Straight is good for every day use? What I mean is does it act as a protectant for before you blow dry?
