FHI Heat Hot Sauce

I absolutely love this product and even have my mom using it and bugging me to buy more. It is a heat protectant and I would say also serves as a "frizz" serum. I always use it before blow drying my hair and it leaves my hair silky soft and REALLY shiny, and it serves it's purpose as a protectant as well.

Only thing to note is that it can make your hair greasy/oily if you apply too much. Besides that, I definitely give this product FIVE Stars .

Price ranges from $7 to $14 a 2oz bottle. I have only seen it on Folica.com or Amazon.

Well worth the money ladies!

How is it working out in this humidity? I have had such a problem with my hair all summer and I really need something to help! Does it make your hair crunchy at all?

It doesn't make my hair crunchy at all.

It was really humid here a couple of weeks ago and my hair was still silky and frizz free (my hair is thick and naturally curly).

I totally agree with Lynette. This stuff is great. My hair was getting fried from flat ironing and blow drying and hot sauce has definitely made is shinier and soft.

Thank you so much for posting this!! I tried it for the first time this morning, and I can't believe how smooth my hair is! I've used literally everything, and this works better than all of them, for so much cheaper

ITA w/ Angela. It doesn't make your hair crunchy at all, quite the opposite. I haven't tried it on my hair when leaving it curly, but with the results of blow drying with it, I doubt it would.

I clicked on this because I thought it was the hot sauce you can eat and I love spicy foods :P

But it worked out great since my Dove heat protectant spray is meh so I've been looking for a new kind to try. Thanks!!

I bought some of this, and it doesn't seem to do much to my hair Maybe I'm not using enough? I have very thick, long hair...

Hmm.. I kinda thought I might have been using it wrong, too. I have fine, colour-treated hair so I try to keep it conservative with how much I use. I really wanted this to work out for me.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now.

I think it's just meh for my hair. But, the price is very affordable so it might be one of the ones I do use to alternate amongst the others that I use.

Oops I forgot to review it. Maybe I'm doing it wrong too hahaha...I don't notice anything with my hair. But I shower at night and put on the hot sauce when I blowdry my hair and then I sleep. Maybe by morning time, the silkiness goes away? Eh I probably won't be buying the product again.
