| | Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion WOW. I'm so happy I got this! No creasing whatsoever! After an entire day at the office, my eyeshadow looks like I just put it on. My eyelids tend to be oily and nothing I've tried so far could prevent the creasing, except this. I love it. I don't know why it took me so long to try this!!!!
Description from Sephora Quote:
Eyeshadow Primer Potion
What it is:
The industry standard for eyeshadow primer!
What it does:
Packaged in a precious, genie-like bottle, Eyeshadow Primer Potion is an ultra-sheer, totally nude eye base that glides on with the wave of a wand and then disappears instantly. It's the ultimate eye prep for smoother, more vibrant shadow and all-day wear, with absolutely no creasing. Now with a new and improved bent wand!

| | I LOVE UDPP too but the packaging is a pain and you are left with 50% of the product stuck in the curves of the bottle that you can't get to unless you cut the bottle open with the knife and transfer the remaining bits into another container and then it ends up drying out .. UD said they were working on a new bottle since soo many complaints.. they lied it's been about 2 years since their announcement and no new bottle yet! but a new primer potion in a different color in the same type of packaging!!! sorry had to rant.. it frustrates me..
after my last bottle, I bought Too Faced Shadow Insurance since people are saying it's just like UDPP but better cuz of the packaging.. but I don't like it very much. I want UDPP but in a new bottle! but for stay proof eyeshadows - this is a must!!!

| | | I also love the Urban Decay Primer Potion. I'm an eyeshadow girl, and this product definately keeps my shadow lookin' good throughout the day.

| | | I have several of the sample sizes of this and the bottle is not curved so you can get the product out just fine. Sucks that the full sized is made like that. |

| | This stuff is awesome, but yeah, the bottle is a pain in the ass. I've heard you can remove the plastic screw top thingy to get a better angle with the wand; otherwise you have to saw the tube open or waste half the product.
I've been using Too Faced Shadow Insurance for a few months now, and while it's not quite as good as UDPP, the packaging is so much better (it's a squeeze tube). My eyeshadow still stays on all day. |

| | I actually opened mine up to transfer into one of those stila lip glaze pens w/ the brush tip (you can buy them empty on various beauty supply sites). Works very awesome

| | | I used to use this stuff every day, it really holds on the shadow, even creme shadow. After about a month, it gave me dry, flaky patches on my eyelids. So what I'm saying is it's probably better not to use it every day. |

| | I bought it when it first came out and also love it! I have really oily skin, and this is the one and only product that can keep my eyeshadow from creasing by the end of the day. Haven't had that trouble with the bottle yet! Maybe the bent wand was their idea of a solution to that problem.

| | ^ I heard the bent tip still doesn't get to everything when you think you have no more product left, cut open the bottle.

| | I am so glad I stumbled upon this thread because I was looking for a new eye shadow primer. I was using Benefits F.Y.Eye and I loved it, but it was sort of cakey. I may just have to give this a whirl!!

| | this stuff is great, but sometimes if use it on the outside corners of my eyes it makes them watery and then dry and painful (maybe from the tears? )
does anyone have the problem of when they do thick lines with a pencil and it transfers to the top of your eyelid, you know where the bone is? and then how to prevent that? i've tried the primer potion for that, but it doesn't work...great for shadow though

I had what I though was dry skin, but one swipe of makeup remover and it was gone. It did look like dry skin though! |
