Coastal Scents Eyeshadow Palettes

I have three of the palettes:

1. 28 Natural Shadow Palette
Price: $21.95 [cheap]
Quality: I like it. It's good for the price and has very good color payoff. As long as you use some kind of base, you'll get great color and it's certainly buildable. Colors are mixture of matte and shimmer
The palette itself is matte and doesn't feel very expensive but it doesn't feel dirt cheap either. I have very minimal fallout when I use their eyeshadows. Comes with 28 beautiful neutral shades of pearl white-light pink-beige-brown-black. Definitely my favorite out of the three.

2. 88 Original matte palette
Price: $21.95
Quality: Very good color payoff. has mix of matte and frosted colors. I personally prefer matte so that's a plus for me. besides I can always use shimmery base to get a more shimmy color shadow. Comes with 88 beautiful colors. Each shadow is a bit smaller than a dime [i know it's small]. but thats ok because you only need little product to get a good color payoff.
Definitely love this palette, especially since I recently started out experimenting with colors. xP

3. 24 Shimmer palette
Price: $21.95
Quality: This is one of my favorite. all colors are shimmery and very bright pretty colors. Has mix of green, blue, gold, pink, red, purple. all the essential and pretty colors The color payoff is perfect. color is buildable. and when you wear these colors, they just pop. bright beautiful colors. love these more than my 88 palette [definitely]

i LOVE their eyeshadow palettes! i can't rave enough about Coastal Scents. i only have their neutral shadow palette, but i recently bought the Contour and Blush palette and i love playing around with that one, too! the countouring shades worked great on my skin as well as my roommate's (i'm fair with yellow undertones, roomie has dark, tanned skin) and i'm not going to lie, i played with some of the shades as an eyeshadow, too

What other brands are these palettes comparable to in terms of quality and pigmentation? I've never heard of them before but the 88 palette looks beautiful!

I heard the quality of those palettes are comparable to MACs... very pigmented and long lasting..I just ordered one myself (in Canada.. probably take forever to get it)..

they are about the size of a dime, but with so many colors I couldnt care less

That actually sounds like a good deal, I just ordered 1 88 matte and 1 88 shimmer. I just became obsessed with MAC eyeshadow so this should help keep that under control lol.

I just received both 88 pallettes as well as a gel liner, a lip gloss, and some brushes and I love them! Not that I needed more eyeshadow but there are so many colors, they are beautiful, and seem to be long lasting and pigmented well. I am thrilled with them!

How big are the pans for the 28 palette? And are they really pigmented?

Has anybody heard of Pure Lux Cosmetics and their eye colours?

I've never used MAC pigments. They go on pretty good and look exceptional when foiled. I suggest micas from coastal scents. The samples are about 5X the amount and they are all gorgeous and very pigmented.

We need a gel liner review.

Hm...do they stay on all day? I've never bought anything off a site like that before, so I'm just trying to figure it all out first unless there's a store that carries them but it doesn't seem like that kind of product...=(

The samples are about $1.50 and shipping is reasonable. So if you're used to spending your money on MAC don't think that will set you back much.
