Another great Dior product. I used Pure Light in the summer and it was great, but i've always been a tinted moisturizer kinda girl. My skin started getting drier and i was running out of Pure Light so after reading GREAT reviews at makeupalley.com - i took the $38 plunge. Cheaper than Laura Mercier - softer, more moisturizing, but sadly just 4 colors to choose from. If your tone matches any of these 4 and you have dry skin, this product is GREAT!
It gives a very SOFT and smooth finish, I didnt need to pat with a transclucent powder because it gives a somewhat soft matte, yet still natural look which isn't drying. Not cakey or mask-like.
The scent MAY BE strong for some people, its quite fruity. It goes away after 15 minutes, if you can stand it then it's great. It reminds me of Chanel skincare - always very fragrant. It's also a tad runny (which some people might not like), but i love that because it glides well and I don't have to pull at my face too much.
One downfall for me is the 4 shades, I'm on the darker side of Asian skin, not fair pinkish/white but more beige/yellow. I use #2 (natural), it looks TOO light/fair at first, but the color adjusts and settles on me perfectly after about 5 minutes.
4.5 stars.
