Eight weeks until my due date...

Five weeks until I'm considered "full-term", and I have never been more ready in my life! I'll be a mom of 6 girls!

OK, so this isn't really "health and fitness", but I don't care; I posted it here anyway.

When I see or hear those stories, I wonder if they are just in some serious denial or if they just want to make the news. There is no denying an 8-month-old fetus kicking the crap out of you. I don't care how overweight you are.

Wow not much longer!

I did not find out until I was 17 weeks pregnant with my 3rd (still getting regular period etc.) as soon as I felt the flutters, I knew instantly what is was (definately not gas).

I'm not sure how someone could go nine months and not clue in either (denial may be a huge part).

^ I get the most nervous about getting to the hospital in time! . Other than that, I just worry about the health of the baby just like all moms.

I saw a mom and dad out yesterday, with 5 girls ranging from 10 months-ish to maybe 8? and I thought of you and your infinite patience.

Did they ever figure out why her stomach was growing...if there wasnt a growing fetus in there?

it's a really rare phenomenon...somebody posted about it before. It's like, there's a sac and it keeps growing...but there is just no baby inside. It's like your body tricks itself into thinking you are preggo.

^It's called pseudocyesis, false pregnancy, or psychological pregnancy.

Anyways...back on topic...congrats Shi :-) I have enough trouble with two brothers, I can't imagine having 5 siblings...and then I'll bet it must be even harder for my mom haha

I never bothered with a birthing class LOL Really, I don't think it's necessary unless you WANT to take one. I personally felt like it would have been a waste of time and money for me. That, and the job my DH was working at the time was very unpredictable, there was no telling if he would be able to go with me week to week.

LOL, if I followed the advice of the birthing class, my first would have been born at home. Waiting for contractions every five minutes for an hour would have been trouble for me.

Best advice? Go with your gut; when you think it's time, go.
