Double stroller thread...

Which one do you have? Do you love it? How much was it?

Baby Jogger City Mini. I think with shipping and tax it ended up being about $400. I love it! I got it when T was 1, and now with the boys being 3 1/2 and 6 I can still use it. It's the narrowest side by side double I had found, so it fits through most doors.

Times have changed since I had to buy one. I bought a Peg Perego, and I loved it. Some dumbass stole it literally within less than a minute from my pediatrician's parking lot. I had it for about 4 years. ato makeatters worse, I was days away from delivering DP#4...ugh

I hope karma kicked their ass.

I bought a Graco something or other after that, it's ok I guess.

So many choices nowadays!

There are way tooo many selections. I am trying to decide one if I even need a double stroller and if I do if it is worth it to spend 400+ on one. I might sell my bob and buy a double but IDK.

I think it depends on whether you think Samson will still be OK sitting in a stroller when he's 2+...I bought a double for my sister to use when I went back to work b/c she was watching James and her own 2 year old son...good in theory, but her son always wanted to get out and walk and hated being stuck in the stroller. just something to think about...

Yeah, both of my boys are really active, and some times they hate it, but other days they love riding in it. Some days I don't use it, and let them both walk... and end up with both of them in my arms.

I know that feeling. I usually take a single stroller when I have both boys and end up carrying one and pushing the other...it's exhausting! So yes, I think it's worthwhile to have a double but I wouldn't recommend buying a super expensive one unless you know you'll use it!

I've used a double stroller SO much with both of my boys, even now that B is older it's nice to have a double when we will be walking a lot. But other times, when we aren't going far but I still need T strapped down I just use a cheap little single umbrella stroller.
I like the side by side doubles better than the front and back ones too, but everyone's needs are so different. I have a sit n' stand too, but we only got a few months of use out of it before it just seemed too bulky and B didn't really like it anyhow. There are so many options now, and I'm sure most are great too! I just wouldn't get "Instep" anything, it's cheap and everytime we used it we had bad luck with that brand.

Good luck deciding! How are you feeling Jasmin?

We have a Phil & Ted's Sport which is an in-line double. I like that it is narrow and folds compactly. The newer ones will also accommodate a infant carseat and toddler. I don't know if it's something I couldn't live without, but it definitely is handy when going to places like the zoo or walking to the library, pool etc. with both kids. I still bring the Ergo in case the baby needs to be carried. So I could probably get by with just the Ergo and our umbrella stroller if necessary. My baby is 6 months old so she can ride in the umbrella stroller in a pinch.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Britax B-ready?

I ended up buying the Britax B-ready in black. The only downside is the total weight with the second seat attached, otherwise highly recommended.
