Best jeans for me, low baby

Hey everyone,
So, I am about 17 weeks right now and cannot fit into 90% of my jeans! I usually do wear fitted styles. I have realized that my stretch jeans are the only ones that somewhat fit now. My baby is also positioned very very low on me, so right where I should button the jeans is hard to do. Even low rise jeans are difficult because the baby is so far down! Anyone have any recommendations on what jeans would fit best right now? I am so tired of having to resort to black stretch pants. Thank you!!

BTW, I normally wear Rock and Republic, 7FAM, and William Rast. William Rast has seemed to be the most comfortable for me so far.

get a bella band. it's the best invention for wearing non-maternity jeans ever.

I'm 18 weeks and the only pair that fits me now is my lone size 27 SFAM You can either just keep sizing up, use a BellaBand like Shi suggested, or buy some maternity jeans. I finally broke down and bought some cheap maternity jeans and pair of cargo pants at the Motherhood Maternity outlet this weekend. Not as cute as my regular jeans, but comfy

Thanks everyone. Yeah, it sounds like I should just buy maternity jeans instead. I don't want to spend a lot of money on jeans I probably won't wear again - Unplanned pregnancy and not planning another one, so I do not see myself wearing maternity jeans again for some time. I will have to look into the band, never heard of it Thanks

OH.. I couldn't fit into my jeans because my thighs got huge! During summer I could get away with my RR Fleetwood crops in Valium, which run large in the waist.. bought some tunics and one long dress (all non-maternity).. then some nice Maternity combat khaki trousers followed and a bunch of maternity cool tops from ebay with baby images and etc. Also cool baby belts and microfibre supporting bras... it is all for my 34A..hahaha.. very comfy though! After, as I remember, I got some low stretchy jeans (not maternity) from English TK Maxx 2 sizes bigger than I was pre-pregnancy, and I was on the 6th month, and was able to wear them for a couple of months and then switched to some stretchy black pants which i got on ebay as well.. as the jeans wouldn't zip up anymore.. it was cold october-november in Stockholm, but I was wearing those thin pants just fine and an autumn coat buttoned only on three top buttons...

P. S. I don't know why but at that time there was no maternity R&R on eBay in my size.. I tried to buy COH Maternity from eBay.com,but they all were way out of my price range.. Also, there was a seller on eBay.com who had a bunch of designer maternity jeans, but they were customised, made from regular R&R or COH, I didn't want to go there..

OP- When I was pregnant, I used the Bella bands (DQ is right- they are the best invention ever!), but also started wearing mens jeans- my thighs got really big so they were much more comfortable, plus the waist is often lower or easier to manuever around the baby bump. Before pregnancy, I wore 28/29, but sized up to 31/32 in the mens about the 3rd month. They lasted until about 7 1/2 months for me (I was carrying high so I'm not sure how long they would work for a low baby). Then I resold them after pregnancy (I'm not planning anymore, either ). You may want to try some on, just to see how the fit works for you. Might be even better than maternity jeans.

for me, William Rast in a size up from my pre-pg size worked throughout my pregnancy with these button extender things (thanks again to Jennifer for sending me a few of these, I am STILL using them almost 4 mos after my baby's birth!)
I found maternity jeans to be too expensive for what I was willing to pay for something I would hopefully only be wearing for a few months. Try to work with what you have or find good deals on bigger sizes of the brand you like, and near the end don't underestimate the power of leggings!!!

I did this too, I stole a couple pairs of DH's jeans for the last couple months, and about a month post preg. I went from a 23 to a men's 31 at that point, and they stayed up fine

OP, you might want to look for some cheap frankie Bs, since they have a really low waist. The really old pairs have a lot of stretch to them too.

I'm late to this thread; but button extenders FTW

Glad they worked for you too Amanda
