lol i'm a perfect example of someone whose figure changed dramatically during pregnancy. i'm 5'5" and weigh about 90 lbs outside of pregnancy; i wear a 23 when available in most brands. during pregnancy i was bursting out of a 29.
i gain upwards of 50 pounds during pregnancy...having been pregnant six times (yes, i have six daughters) my body takes on a life of its own. Premium denim was the ONLY option for me. Old Navy jeans fit horribly, as did all the mainstream maternity mall-brand jeans (ie, Motherhood, etc).
i loved my SFAM and Paige. I didn't find any TR at the time, but i have a feeling i would have loved them too. i squeaked by with the bella band and my regular jeans for a while, but 50 pounds? yeah, wasn't going to make it all the way through.
i bought maternity jeans that were maternity from the factory, not self-made ones. maternity jeans are cut differently and accommodate all the extra baggage that comes with a 6-size jump and a huge belly.
i wore them from four months on and i definitely got my money's worth.
