I vote no Jess. You can see it unless you wear something that is flowy and doesn't stick. Can't wear anything form fitting. I also got a generic one that was a third of the price but it still showed

thanks for the input Wanda. They seem kinda expensive and i was thinking that they would probably look bulky too. I'd probably bet better off wearing my bella bands pulled up over my abdomen...

I bought one at Babies R US, it was a internet return. That particular store did not carry them. The box was all torn up so they offered 20% off. It was the Kim Kardashian?? one with the leopard print on it, really cute!

Took it home to try it with a tank top and you could see it. It seems to be too rigid in the areas that you don't want it to be.

The belly band would be a great idea... just buy one a size too small and I would imagine it would give some sort of support.

But if you do happen to have a c-section, the hospital will send you home with something like the belly bandit so you can manage at home. At least our hospital did.

I used something like this but the medela brand. It was a piece of crap. I guess it helped with the first couple of days because I was having a lot of cramping but as for making your stomach flatter faster, I'd say "NO" for me Plus, it would get all bunched up, it was bulky AND it would ride up too. I agree about the bella band, helps hold things in a little bit....also, a girdle is much better IMHO.

I'd be happy to send you my Medela one if you want. So you can give it a try and see if works on you (mine is Medium though) and if not, at least you didn't waste any money on it. Just send me a pm if you want it.

I was wondering about the belly bandit too...I think I'll end up going with a girdle or spanx - when I just read that your post-baby belly size is around the size you are at 7 or 8 months it made me want to cry a little. is that really true?

That's sweet of you Alex but I won't have you waste money to ship it. I think I'll just try my Bella bands first and then if I need to I'm going to buy a girdle type thing.

I kinda figured they'd be bulky, they look bulky in the photos I've looked at online. Thanks so much for the input!
