| | | Mommies! I need some baby shoe help! Its been awhile since I have bought baby shoes! I know that their first pair of walking shoes is important to help promote a good foot pattern, or some shenanigans like that! Back in the day Stride Rite made a natural motion system that was for new walkers.
So help me! Good brands to start looking for!
Thanks!

| | | I've seen Robeez for good prices at Marshalls. Pedipeds are also supposed to be good. We don't have the actual thing, but got some knock offs from Target. |

| | | I've bought DD Robeez, Pediped and Striderite and the only ones she'll keep on her feet are the Pedipeds.

| | Robeez for sure but I know you already know about those Kara.
I really liked See Kai Run shoes for Trey when he was an itty bitty guy. http://www.seekairun.com/ They sell 'em down at the baby store on 5th St just down from 5th St Public Market. I can't think of the name right now. |

| | | WHen Nicholas was learning to walk, and still crawling, etc I loved Pedipeds!! So cute, esp for boys. He has some robeez too but i like them better for girls. I tried a few knockoffs and quite honestly they were a waste of money, they didn't stay on his feet. I would maybe invest in 1 pair of quality pre-walkers like Robeezo or Pedipeds.
Then when we was full on walking but still quite clumsy I did buy his first pair of true walkers (sandals cause it was summer) at Stride ride. When he got really stable I moved on to cheap shoes LOL. |

| | My son was barefoot most of the time too!!
But when he did need shoes for going out, he had a pair of see kai run and weebit shoes made by Simple.
The weebit shoe is made of natural hemp if I remember correctly and come in a variety of colors. I bought mine at Foods for the Family but Amazon currently has them.
You will like them |

| | | My DD had some Robeez, cute little Vans crib shoes & some adorable baby Uggs. Her feet are wide, so most shoes don't work for her. When she really started walking I started buying her Stride Rite. She usually rotates between these and her Crocs.

| | I absolutely LOVE Umi shoes for my DS. They're heavyweight enough to protect his feet, but flexible too. I like this style in particular: http://www.endless.com/dp/B001CSZX4C...SIN=B001CSZX4C |

I really like these Puma's too because they are more like slippers and very flexible, they STAY ON (big plus), they are easy to put on, and provide a little protection. They make all sorts of different colors, but you just have to look around a bit. http://www.shop.puma.com/PUMA-Lil%27...S%3a5&Color=04

| | | Oh, and I do agree with the above recommendations for PediPed and Umi. My daughter had a few pairs and they have nice flexible soles. PediPed also has a double cushion footbed liner of which one can be taken out to extend wear as the foot grows or use both for narrow feet. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
