Need some help from AF mommies

Hi girls,

I am doing some research on blogs/forums/etc websites that pertain to parenting and kid's heath. Basically, my boss asked me to find top sites for kid's health and try to either partner up with them or write articles for them about some health issues. So, if you could, list top websites you go to when you have a question regarding your kid's health.

TIA

If I don't ask here, I usually will check Dr. Sears Official Website | Parenting Advice, Parenting Books & more
Or my Mommy forum, but that's a small, private forum.

^ Dr. Sears is a very popular source.
there are many sites that people visit; there is a site for every type of lifestyle as well.

i like kellymom.com (excellent breastfeeding resource as well as a great kids' health section)

mothering.com is another one.

i often go to webmd.com as well to get the traditional point of view, and i take a little from all of them.

i'm also a member of some smaller, private parenting forums.

+1 on all. Kellymom was great when my son was first born.. and I trust Dr Sears site a lot more than webmd (that site makes me way paranoid) LOL

I have never used internet source for health info besides AF!

I like to talk to an actual person and still go to the dr for every little thing

Plus my mom is a good source for info

^ I agree Erica...Mom's (grandmom's that is) are the best source of info. I always ask my Mom about stuff and I trust her opinion because not only did she raise us, but she also has had a daycare/preschool for 15+ years and has seen a lot.

webmd is too broad for us.
Will def look into Dr.Sears and other things you guy have mentioned.
moms and grandmas are awesome, but not exactly what we had in mind.

the place I work for is a Physical Therapy office specializing in pelvic floor dysfunctions. They treat easy stuff like incontinence, retention, postpartum scar tissue, etc and complicated cases like erectile dysfunctions, constipation, hip dysplasia, etc. We have a program for kids and a program for preggos and new moms (among other things). So my boss wants to find places with these demographics and contact them.
