| | | My Mummy Tummy I had terrible mummy tummy after losing my pregnancy weight. The loose skin and lower belly fat that you just can't get rid of :P I didn't think that the loose skin would ever get better without a tummy tuck, but I actually think that it is. My tummy definitely looks better now then it did 3 years ago. I don't work out and I have not really gained or lost much weight. There is hope |

| | That's great Char! I wish it were the same for me. I will probably end up getting at least a mini tuck. I hate that skin. Plus, I got stretch marks pretty bad on the lower part of my stomach and they would all get removed with a tummy tuck. |

| | Oh yeah the stretch marks
I've thought about a having a mini tuck myself because of the stretch marks and making my belly more taut. I'm not sure a mini would get rid of them all and I don't think I could handle the full tummy tuck...it is a very long scar and a lot of downtime. |

| | I wish mine would go away. I'm too lazy to try and do anything about it.
It only bothers me if I wear rises that are really low or a bikini.

I have a friend who just had it done (as well as her boobs at the same time). It's been a month now and she still isn't back to 100%. |

| | Grrr I'm hoping, hoping mine will go down with time. It is such a pooch! Right now there is even some cellulite I really don't think I will do any kind of tuck, it scares me! I've been giving boobs thoughts too, but I was small before; I think I just need to see how they look after I'm all done. I kindof like my small boobs, but would love bigger ones for my swimsuit and stuff...I just don't know if it would be worth all of the hassle.
I'm HOPING that I will feel comfortable enough for a bikini this summer (probably LATER!) For now I have a tankini. I have about 7-10 lbs I'd still like to lose and A LOT of toning up before I will want any skin showing
I love this pooch-mummy-tummy support thread! |

My mummy tummy is out of control but I'm too lazy to do anything about it right now and the fact that I have a tub of ice cream in the sitting every 3 days does not help .
I can't do tummy tuck, I'm to scared. |

| | I hate my mummy tummy. You can't really see it since i always cover it, but it's there. I have been excercising but my tummy is really hard to tone. I have other physical problems that do not help either.
Don't feel bad Alex, my husband asked me if i wanted that too, a long time ago. However, he did clarify to me that it didn't bother him at all but if it bothered me enough that i should. I have had enough manditory surgeries so i don't think i would go for one for beauty's sake unless i had a terrible accident or lost a boobie. That's just because of my experiences though.

| | My hubby told me about a procedure with a grid of lasers that get hot enough to make your skin tighten, but not burn I'll probably do some research on that, b/c mine isn't saggy enough for a tummy tuck, but its still looser than it should be and wrinkles really badly (reminds me of my grandma's skin, and she's 80 ) I got loads of stretch marks with my youngest, and I'm guessing that's whats keeping the rest of my skin from going back to normal.

That is my tummy too...it's just wrinkly mainly, not loose skin anymore.
I have the cellulite too, some days it is very noticeable others not so much.
One day I was bending over the sink washing my face and my four year old asked me why my tummy looked all funny : I told him it was all his fault |

| | I has one too My stretchmarks are pretty much gone after nearly 4 years.. but the little pot belly part hasnt left me.. no matter what I do. Luckily my C section scar will only be seen by.. the man Im sleeping with and me. My dr was kind enough to put it as low as he could (since I was pissed he was doing the c-section in the first place.. that was my "reward" ) Maybe around the time I get pregnant with the next one it'll be gone.

| | My mummy tummy isn't huge or anything, but it is definatly there. I can't stand it. Everytime after I eat, it looks like I'm 3-4 months preg again. I try to suck it in but it still sticks all out there. My youngest is 5 and you would think it would be gone by now! I really need to work on my stomach and muffins.......those are out of control!

Like I can suck in all I want, but the lower part of my abdomen always 'looks' pregnant to me. |

| | I don't have a pooch. The thing that bothers me is when I bend over and that extra skin hangs over my pants or panties. When I'm standing it looks normal but I find I'm embarrassed of that in more intimate situations.
My sister got a tummy tuck & she always has a flat nice stomache whether she gains some weight or not. She's had 5 kids.

I've been doing all kind of workouts for my abs and nothing seems to be happening.
