Bella Band

Hey all - Is the Bella Band worth the $$$ or do other brands work just as well??

I'm struggling whether I want to buy one or not... I'd love to be able to use them w/ prepreg pants but if they don't work well, then I'd rather just invest the $$ in maternity jeans... TIA!!

Buy the ones at Target!!! They worked just as good for me. BTW what sizes do you need? I have a small-medium and a medium-large.

I only ever used the bella bands - bought one from April (aswin), one from ebay and two from babysteals.com. I absolutely loved them. They would frequently have to be adjusted but I didn't care because I have to usually adjust my pants when I sit anyway...but they did help me to save a bunch of money by being able to continue wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans for much longer.

I found the bella bands to not stretch out as bad as say.. the cheaper ones at motherhood maternity.. I loved them!! I had one in black, white and nude. LOL I found mine online cheaper, though..

I had a couple and used them early on. I found myself readjusting my pants all the time. I ended up getting a few pairs of cheap maternity pants from Old Navy and converting some old jeans to maternity. When I am pg again, I think I will use the Bella band until my old maternity jeans will stay up. I was most comfortable in the under belly maternity pants until the last couple of weeks anyway.

I was wondering about those at Target! I probably would need those exact sizes! Thinking of parting with them?? You can PM me!!

I think I will also try a Bella Band one as well. I've looked at reviews and some were saying that the Bella Band type worked better than the cheaper versions.

Thanks for all the input ladies!!!

I am still wearing mine. I feel like they make you feel more held together after having a baby.

I never tried the cheaper versions but I loved my Bella bands. I wore them for months after delivery too. I was able to wear my non-maternity premium denim all the way through until the day before delivery with the use of the Bella Band. I highly recommend them.

i'm so very glad i was not wearing my premium maternity jeans when Emaan flew out in the car.

ok, carry on...bella bands...yeah, i wore mine until i could no longer pull my regular jeans above my bubbly thighs and hips.

i wore it for a week or two afterward too; agree with the support comments. nice and smooth support while you wiggle and jiggle back to your size.

Bella bands are the best. I dug mine out recently and plan on using them very soon. I have other brands too but the bella band holds it shape time and time again and it is a thicker weight fabric.

I was able to wear my regular jeans with the bella band up until approx 6-7 months. I have friends who could wear them all throughout and never bought a single pair of maternity pants. But I also had friends who bought a bunch of them but could only wear them a few months. In my opinion they are great for someone who only gains their weight in the belly and not their booty and thighs!!!

I used mine for a long time up until the end of my second trimester both times. I think I got mine when they were on sale at babycenter.com. I think you can get them cheap on amazon.com also. I always wanted one with lace but never ended up buying it.

Me too - esp. the superflares I eventually bought from you -

Another vote here for the bella bands and one thing that hasn't been mentioned...also good for wearing OVER your maternity pants if you wear them before your belly is big enough and/or if the maternity pants don't have a great band on them. I had a maternity suit that fell off me right up until 9 months so I always had to secure it with my bella band.
