cold, sweaty feet?

a week ago i noticed devon's feet felt clammy; i thought she might have gotten drool on her feet because she grabs her feet all the time now, so i didn't bother to ask her pediatrician about it. again tonight, i noticed that they were cold and wet. i'm going to ask her doctor about it, but i'm curious to know whether or not anyone elses baby had cold, sweaty feet occasionally. she's 4 months old now. just wondering if this is something that is normal and will pass.

S and Y had cold, sweaty feet too; it just passed over the months.

it wouldn't hurt to mention it to the doctor just to be safe, but i think it's normal.

My baby used to have sweaty feet a LOT! She was probably around 5 months old when I noticed it. Sometimes they would actually be hot, but a most times they normal temp or cold. Sometimes it would be so bad you could just see it "glistening" from across the room! Our pediatrician said it was not a big deal, just one of those odd baby things so no worries.
She grew out of it after a month or two. She's a year old this month and I haven't seen sweaty feet in a looonng time.

sorry my earlier replies were so short; E woke up.

babies have all sorts of quirks that they pretty much universally outgrow; this is one of them. S and Y have totally warm snuggly feet now.

Cat I clicked on this thinking it was about babies, my son had this as well. I was actually told by my Doctor that when babies sweat it's mostly from their feet and hands, so it's normal. My son't only lasted till he was about 9 months, but I remember putting layers of socks on and nothing helped.
