Advice on the Melrose fit

I read the other threads suggesting that Paiges are pretty TTS and do not stretch like COH, 7FAMK. My only Paige pair is the Santa Monica trouser in Dk Scrape and after an evening they gently stretch. Not dramatic, but they give a little bit.

What about the Melrose (in dk clean)? Any thoughts? I'm a TTS 26 and am considering purchasing a 25 from an HF member. I'm thinking that sizing down in Paige may not be a good idea....

I tried going from a 26 to a 25 and it was not a pretty sight. paiges give, but IMO not as much as like sevens do.

I don't know about Dark Clean wash, but I tried on the Melrose in Dark Resin and they ran kind of big. The 27 fit comfortably, and the 28s were way too big to wear. The rise is higher on the Melrose than most other Paiges, if that makes a difference in the way they fit on your body.

^I guess I should add that I'm not talking melrose. Dark Clean is a notorious wash though for not stretching out and holding it's shape very well.
