I received some ebay paige laurel canyons in indigo.
They have this really odd whiskering behind the knees--
almost looks a little swirly white tie-dye! Also they
are 60 cotton, 40 poly. Never had that before!
Other than that they do look real.
Help! Am I stuck with the weird whiskers behind the knee?

Some washes have whiskering behind the knee, and a few Paige washes are a 60/40 blend. If you want authentication, you need to post pics.

the stuff behind the knees is likely part of the wash. i'm guessing they're blue topaz. what's the wash code? you can find it on the white tag; it'll start with wa.

also, pics would help. i can't check authenticity without pictures.

they are WA154. I don't have the ability to do a photo sadly!

60% cotton/40% poly holds it shape well.
154 is blue topaz, but i would like to see pics if possible. you purchased them on ebay? does the auction have pictures of the jeans?

The photos look great--but the back of the legs are not

Wait! The material inside the waistband is different. Mine have little white
flowers, no stripes like the other ones I have. Is that a problem?

i like it as long as it falls behind the knees. i'm a bit shorter, so this sort of distressing often falls below the back of my knees. that's when it looks odd.

there are white flowers on the pair pictured, but the pic if far away so you can't see them well.

It shows darker stripes on yours, but that is not on mine.

if they look like this one, you might want to double check the cut on your pair. they are probably benedict canyon, not laurel canyon.

there isn't a label sewn on the floral lining that says laurel canyon or benedict canyon?

the floral lining on your pair is the benedict canyon lining. benedict canyon is a slim bootcut; laurel canyon has a slightly larger, flared leg opening.

Phew. It does have a tag that says Laurel Canyon lowrise bootcut. Am I safe yet?

a bit odd, but it's possible that they put the wrong lining in it. they're likely real. i haven't seen this pair faked. i'd be 100% sure if i saw pics of the actual jeans.
