I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable leaving my house in those... if they really fit/feel like leggings I'd feel like I were wearing jammies in public

I would never feel comfortable wearing those in public. Leggings + pants (insert does not equal sign here) A complete outfit.

If you can't wear the shirt alone, it shouldn't be worn with just leggings.

And these look like plain Leggings to me, but different fabric, IE why I don't think I'd wear them. I'll just wear my cotton stretch tights/leggings or regular jeans.

Like my girl Briar says, "Leggings are not pants." I saw the booty of two college co-eds last week since their leggings were essentially tights (meaning sheer when stretched) and the shirt was up on the hips.

Look at how the crotch hangs in the first two. I'm not a big fan.

There are several here that like them, so I posted it for them.

As a size 31, I probably am not going much smaller than a 10 or 12" ankle opening I have already done leggings back in the 80's, though I did see a lady in a cute super oversized tunic/dress thing and leggings that was my age and looked pretty cute. If I do them they will be regular leggings and they would function as tights, not pants

I would imagine these are pretty comfy though - the dusk wash is 73% cotton, 27% spandex I think

she needs to pull 'em up, but it doesn't look like she can because the legs are tight.

i'm sure someone could rock these though.

^^^ what she said. Not for me, and IMO really not for most women unless they enjoy being laughed at.

I can't even imagine what body type would be flattered by those things. But then, I feel exactly the same way about the ultra-skinnies in any brand. Just not the best look for most of us.

I did the denim legging thing in the 80s early 90s...don't think I am going back to it, although, I'm sure they'd be super cute on the right person...just not me!

Is it bad that I want them? I think if they were in a more interesting wash they might be nice (as long as the crotch thing isn't an issue). I tried a pair of COH leggings at Aritzia the other day and they were sooooo comfy. The looked just like jeans too (and really nice on me IMO). I was a bit worried at the fabric content though (mostly rayon). The girl helping me was wearing a pair that she had bought last month and all the stitching was coming loose on hers and they were starting to fuzz but she was trying to tell me that they would last as long as a pair of jeans. At least the Paige leggings are cotton and are significantly less expensive. If anyone gets a chance to try them let me know how they fit

Are these leggings that look like jeans or jeans that look like leggings?

The website says they are 73% cotton/27% stretch... so I'm guessing they would be in between .

I've tried a pair of jean-leggings and the low crotch thing kinda bugged me too. Although I do like the third pair, they look more like super skinnies than jeggings.
