its rather hard to tell just from these pictures since the classic ugg shape isn't really hard to reproduce. does the fur feel real? is the suede of good quality? how is the stitching? uggs are put together really well. they actually look alright to me, imo.

I think they are fake. I have a pair of the tall ones and they don't match the other ones. They are shorter and they aren't made the same. I was wondering if they were an austrailian one or something. But i'm going to contact the seller. Do you think I should send the boots back first or request my money first?

Don't send the shoes yet until seller agrees to refund you. IMO, try contacting them, if they refused to refund, then file Paypal dispute.

one of the easiest ways to tell is the heel plate (where the ugg label is sewn on). that piece of suede/leather/whatever should be much stiffer than the rest of the boots.. to the point where you would really have to try to make it lose its shape. from your pics it doesnt look too good

That is the picture from the UGG website. The back lower portion shouldn't be metallic. Yours appear to be fake. Just file a paypal dispute.

the box is definitely fake...because ugg boxes dont come with blue print..and..there should be a small orange sun around the word UGG...on the middle of the box.....these gold ones just came out in 2007, and all boxes should be designed the same, i just bought 2 pairs of uggs this year from an authorized retailer and the official ugg website and their boxes don't look like that.

and i've seen fake uggs before, there's no difference between the material they use, it's easy to copy the style, material, even the bottom of the shoe can be the exact same as authentic ones. It's the stitching of the shoe that will tell whether it's fake. Also, when the rims of the shoe doesn't match the sheepskin on the outside...then they are fakes too because UGG australia always match the rims of the shoe to the color of the sheepskin on the outside.

The leather and the metallic looks cheap and the UGG on the soles should have the trademark R next to it like this
