Sorry, its fake.
[EDIT]- Thought I should go back and throw in a few reasons why it is fake so you can see for yourself...
1) The font on the small heart is all wrong. Cheap fakes seem to use an arial sans serif type font instead of a serif one.
2) The engraving on the "lifesaver" part of the necklace is also off even though it is a serif font. Look closely at the first picture and compare the two lifesavers. One engraving seems deeper than the other and the overall quality isn't all bold and clear as a real Tiffany product.
3) The color of the box in photo 2 is way too green/teal and not "Tiffany Blue".
4) The pouch in photo 2 is also all wrong. Its from pretty far away but I can tell its that cheap velvet instead of the suede and the font is too large and too thick and fuzzy as well. The size and shape of the pouch looks off and the strings (from what I can see) look too thick. When the pouch is cinched shut there should be a certain amount of fabric at the top so the bag looks like an old fashioned money bag you know? If there isn't enough fabric (and the fabric to begin with is the cheaper velvet type) then the bag will not cinch tightly and the top will look bulky.
5) Plastic covering anywhere (like on the hearts in the picture) is always a bad sign.
6) Lastly, its a pretty good rule of thumb that if all the pictures in the auction look very different (color/shape of the boxes in the background, different photo techniques, etc.) then the seller is hocking a lot of these or stole someone else's pictures. A lot of fake Tiffany sellers do the bait and switch method of showing a few pictures of real Tiffany products and then throwing in one of the fake piece they are REALLY selling. Tiffany does not have sales and does not have outlets. THere are no wholesalers of Tiffany so anyone who is selling a bunch of shiny brand new Tiffany pieces is selling knock offs.
Ok, that should be enough for now. Good luck with your hunting!!
