I just found a pair of black mens shoes which I am pretty sure are fake but can you tell me what to look for as far as fake shoes go.

I can give more information on them later.

A good thing i go off of is the stamping on the bottom(the Gucci made in Italy stamp) it has alot of plastic left over around the stamp. Even though this inst 100% reliable i usually goo off of this.

Here are a few things going on on these shoes.

the number 101722 is stamped in silver ink with 12 D following it on the inside edge of the shoe at the place that would be closest to the ankle.
On the inside sole of the footbed where that heel would be is GUCCI with made in italy underneath the m in made and the i in italy are both lowercse letters there is NOT a capital R in a circle above the word GUCCI.
this is all embossed into the material, not stamped with ink,

On the top velcro strap about an inch from the end is GUCCI, made in italy underneath and a capital R in a circle above the word GUCCI again this is embossed into the material
and again on the outside of the shoe near the heel is the same marking as above

On the bottom of the shoe is again is the same marking as above this time the lettering is slightly raised and the sole is covered in tiny raised triangles.
