Christian Louboutin Chat Thread!

Hi all. I have composed a fit guide below for a variety of Louboutin shoes/boots. If you think it would be more helpful to add pictures I can. If you have anything to add, please let me know.

I would recommend sizing up 1/2 size if you have wide feet and are purchasing a pointed toe style.

Ron Ron
Runs Small - go up 1/2 size

Armadillo Peep Toe Pumps
TTS

Alti Pumps
Runs Small - go up 1/2 size

Simple Pumps
TTS (however, depends on the batch some run 1/2 size small)

Mad Mary (photos provided by nakedmosher2of3)
Runs small - one FULL size up

Pigalle Pumps (patent or leather)
TTS

Pigalle Pumps (mesh)
Runs Small

N. Prive Slingback
TTS

Hyper Prive
Uknown, if anyone owns these/tried them on please let me know!

Very Prive Pump
1/2 size too small for me, others recommend sizing up 1 whole size.

Bang Bang Ankle Boot
TTS

Trottinette Boot
Runs Small - Size up 1/2

C'est Moi Shoe Boot
Runs Small - Size up 1/2

Arielle A Talon Ankle Boot
TTS

Arielle A Talon Ankle Boot (python or watersnake)
SMALL - size up at least 1/2 size

Sigourney Ankle Boot
Runs Small - Size up 1/2 (wide feet may want to size up one full size)

Goya Boot (suede)
Runs small - Size up 1/2

Armadillo/Orniron Ankle Boot
Runs Small - Size up 1/2

Padrino boot (pointed toe)
Runs TTS, but if you have wide feet you should go 1/2 up

Cajole boot
True to size

Metallika boot
Runs small - some recommend a half size up, some recommend a full size up

(under construction)

I think different batches of Simple Pumps have different sizing. I'm normally 37.5 and I had to size up to 38. Even so they are still slightly tight. My friend is a pretty consistent 37 and she has them in 37 no problem.

I wish CL's sizing was more consistent. My pointy ones are actually 37 and they fit. Also I think Pigalle's leather or patent leather style is TTS. I have tried the mesh (not that I would buy them anyways!) and they were very small.

Thanks for your input ladies! Noel, would you say the mesh Pigalles are a half size or a whole size small? You're right the sizing is all over the place. Do you have narrow feet Noel? The pointed toes seem to be TTS as long as you don't have wide feet. I edited the above to reflect the info you ladies provided.

The Pigalle mesh is definitely one size small if not more. I *think* I have normal width as I've never had any problem with most shoes but the whole Pigalle line is too narrow for me IMO.

I also wanted to point put my pointy (Decoltissimo) are black. When I tried the brown in 37, they were way too small. There is another style of classic pointy pumps (can't remember the name) that I'd tried and they were a bit wider than Decoltissimo. They were slightly lower heels and covered more (no to cleavage). I really hate CL's sizing, it makes online shopping very difficult.

I'm so glad someone made this!! I really wanna buy my first pair from eBay/ a reputable source but the sizing can be confusing if you don't have the chance to try them on for real!

I know. The sizing is ridiculous. I was hoping to put something together to help a little with online shopping. I hope the two pair I have coming fit. I will update when they come.

I wear 7.5US (85% of the time) and have BELLE booties in 8.5 that fit sooooooooo comfortably. I wear sock/tights with them and they're soooo comfy! I think if I bought a 8, I can only get away with just tights or those panty hose type socks.

One of these days, I will own a pair of CL

I've never even tried a pair on... I'm too afraid that I will fall in love with them and spend my mortgage payment buying a few pairs

Since I've been collecting CLs for the past 6-8 months, here's my little fit guide that I have uploaded to google docs:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...kQA6cyXqxImxQQ

It's compared to the US size.

Generally most CLs run 1/2 size up from US sizing. D'orsays run TTS or 1/2 size down. Shoes w/ toeboxes like Decolletes & Rolandos are usually 1 full size up. Boots are almost always 1-1.5 size up from US.

Anna - I will get you a pair one day when I win the lottery.

The dh & I were at Neimans looking at CLs and the whole time he was rolling his eyes and ignoring me. Needless to say, I have none.

Shelley, I would really love to see your shoe/boot and purse/handbag collection, and I guarantee I'm not the only one!

I wish you ladies who have these amazing wardrobes would post in the WAYWT section.

Are you talking about the Piaf style? I want to get that style as my starter pair but I'm unsure of the sizing. Does anyone know if they're tts?

Pigalle 100mm are TTS but Pigalle 120 run huge. Most people have to size down 1 to 2 full sizes.

I find Wallis to be TTS and No Priv to be TTS but narrow and small toebox so if you have wide feet you may very well need to size up.

The Sigourneys are here. I usually wear a 7 but I got these in a 7.5. The left one fits perfect and the right one is a big snug. I think it will stretch.
