The APC Denim Thread

I'll start this off light. APC is a French company that is well known for having good quality, low priced dry denim. All of their jeans can be had for as little as $120 from www.thedenimbar.net (yes, you need to call them to order. Just ask for the owner, Mauro, and tell him that I sent ya ;)).

$120 gets you one of several different cuts:

New Standard: High-mid rise, slight taper.
Cure: Mid-rise, more of a taper.
Rescue: Straight leg all the way through. Looser fit
Hipster: Low-mid rise, slight taper.

It is generally advised to size down two or three sizes for APCs, because they stretch a lot, and they stretch fast. If you can't even button the jeans when you first get them, you got the right size!

you can also buy directly from APC's website @ www.apc.fr. look into it if the DenimBar is out of stock, or if you are going for something other than jeans.

I was going to put it there, but the subtitle for this forum actually says APC, it's the first word.

And APC does make washed jeans.

APC's arent that expensive anyways

That's why I made a thread about this brand first. Denim Bar ships within the US for $120, and internationally for $125 to $135, IIRC. Considering the price and quality, it's a great brand to start off with.

Yeah, I agree. I don't know why but I prefer APC's to Nudies and not just for the price factor. The only Nudie cut I would think about buying again are the SJ.

APC is great. their clothes are plain and simple but good quality and pretty good fits for the price.
