Hi everyone,
Im looking to buy a pair of Angelina bootcut jeans from AG- and they fit perfectly now (size 29), I am worried they will STRETCH out, anyone have any ideas or experience with this brand, they are also lightweight jeans if this helps?
They are 98% cotton and 2% elastan ?

Thanks!!!:magwink

I have the 5 year wash in that cut. The waist to me didn't stretch out that much, but the thighs did stretch out just a little. Not even a half size though and I don't think they stretch where they look bad.

I have several pairs and some stretch whiles others dont at all. I have the club in 2 washes of their lightweight, super soft material and those are the ones that stretch. But not terribly, just a bit. I do find myself having to wash and dry those though usually after 1 or maybe 2 wears. So the pair you have may stretch a little. I did size down in those lightweight washes. But all of their new washes and not-lightweight materials do not stretch out at all IMO. I love all my AG's...even the ones that stretch are so comfy, its still worth it!! I always put those pairs in the dryer....

Hi
thanks everyone for the responses!
I fit PERFECTLY in the 29's, if they dont give Im ecstatic, I tried on the 28's today and they are much tighter, (some lines/wrinkles under my bum area) I could still sit and jump in em and all, so if THEY stretch out Im in good hands if not then Im in trouble.

They are really lightweight material and based on the reviews it seems they give way which might be a good thing. Also how do AG jeans hold up, Im terrified of dropping $$ and then having them rip on me.
thanks!!

I have quite a few pairs of AGs and they all have held up really well.

I did rip my first pair, but that was totally my fault. I was pulling them up by the belt loops :shake and I ripped the loop right off :ashamed I've never had a problem with any of my other pairs ripping.

I disagree, I'm wearing my 10 Years Tomboys for 3 days in a row and only has streched a little bit (a little bit loose, come on ! are boyfriend jeans, but not super big like some SFAM washes), mine are tts.

Thanks for all the info everyone. very helpful. The jeans I was looking to get are very lightweight material so I get the feeling they are prone to stretching out quickly! So I think taking a 28 (a bit too tight for me) will be good since they'll stretch out to almost 29 right :S ?

How about the 5 year wash, do those stretch out a lot- I get the feeling they dont.

Thanks again everyone I really appreciate it ! :headspin

^It's up to you, but none of my AGs stretch out enough to the point where I would size down. :IDK The pairs I have--Stilt in 10 Year and in Bardot; Piper in 8 year; Ex-Boyfriend Crop in 17 year damage--only stretch a little bit, and mostly bag out in the knees by the end of the day.

Yeap that's true, they are a little bit loose in the butt, but that the way that I wear my jeans :rofl, and yes are really comfy, I just travel 9 1/2 hours wearing my pair, very comfy!
