Burberry Trench Coat Authenticity Check

(First-time user...please forgive any errors!) I was delighted to receive a "Burberry" hand-me-down trench coat recently but now the label has me suspicious. Would very much appreciate help in authenticating (or debunking).

I've never inspected a Burberry but based on a few label pictures online I would expect sharper embroidery detail in a label of this size (about 3 inches by 2 inches). "PRORSUM" is barely legible, "OF LONDON" letters are all the same height, the bottom right trademark symbol is located directly above the rear hoof and not trailing it, rattails on "rr" are not very clear, and the spike on the horse's face armor is rather short.

Thanks very much in advance,

Shouldn't it say "Burberry" instead of "Burberrys" ?

From wiki.answers.com:
Both Burberrys and Burberry are authentic according to the main office. They changed the labeled from Burberrys to Burberry 9 years ago.

In 1999 Burberrys changed their marketing name to Burberry. Most of their items changed too however many accessory items still had the Burberrys name. Also, in 2006, after much public outcry, Burberry closed a main manufacturing plant in London and began producing items in China. The Burberry name was the standard, but Burberrys was still being printed in the liner of some purses and clothing. Currently in Japan their is a line Burberry items that are sold that have the Burberrys name. It is a more affordable line of clothing and accesories.
The stitching looks a little sloppy at the bottom of the tag.

RE: Burberrys

Thanks for responding. That's actually what drew my attention to the label but, according to a couple of bloggers, some authentic Burberry trenchcoat labels do have "Burberrys." Apparently Burberry has changed its branding a few times over the years and at one time used "Burberrys of London." This coat is a few years old.

Thanks Silentriot,
I had not noticed the dicey stitching there.

Newer burberry trench coat authenticity check

Hello all,
I'm thinking this coat I bought is the real deal, but I figured I would double check, seeing as many people selling fakes on eBay are adamant they are selling genuine articles.

I picked up this jacket at a thrift shop. Can someone please tell me if it is genuine or a fake?

Burberry Trench authentication

I just bought this coat from a small vintage shop and wondering if it is real. Is anybody can help me?

P.S. Unfortunately I am not allowed to upload more pics, though inside the jacket there is also a label with "GBBURLIMCAS"

In my opinion (Iam far from an expert ) the jacket looks real, though the last attached picture is a bit suspicious?
