I know! My dad HATED my filthy hems... no way in hell could I have my jeans drag the ground now Drives me crazy!! Guess I'm a little OCD on the germs/dirt thing now though | Ugh, I know...it was like you were cooler if your hems drug on the ground 3 feet after you... I see people now where their hems are eaten up like 3 inches so they go almost above their shoes (I am explaining this well?) and I am so grossed out...
Ok...so EMBARASSING but I loved Express in HS and I bought this purple top and matching purple pants...um yeah I still can't believe I got compliments.
And let's not forget the tie dye pants with the fringe hems. WTH was I THINKING... |

| | | I don't really understand why the cheap junior's brands think it's such a good idea to straight-up copy PD designs--before I started caring about jeans (which was only a few months ago) I didn't really know what most of the brand signatures were, so who are they attracting by copying?

| | | You guys would totally die if you saw a pair of the gnarled up filthy hems on some of my husband's jeans. I should go get my camera.

So the people who have no idea what PD is, buy them thinking they're "fitting in" but don't realize that what they're buying isn't actually what they saw on another person. |

I know the raver crowd I used to hang with back in the 90s all wore those huge, wide legged baggy pants - easier to dance in!
Ahh, those were the days. |

I liked the fact that I never needed a pair larger than a 27 even though I was pretty darned chunky at the time. The washes are pretty boring though compared to my TR and PRPS. | went that buckle place for the first time yesterday and nearly threw up... i found thier overly destructed and Abercrombie-ish jeans to be hideous... Of course this is only my opinion... But paying 100+ dollars for a pre-beaten up product just isnt fun... its not very original, which is why i love dry denim so much...
my top three brands are the ones that remind me the most of ed hardy...
1. Ed Hardy
2. Ed Hardy

| | Going to lock this ... pretty annoying that it is spilling into other parts of the forum: Are these jeans Raw Denim or a Raw Wash?
Really no reason to have this thread here in the 1st place IMO. If you dislike a specific brand that is your opinion. Fashion is subjective and just because you feel like something doesn't look good doesn't mean that many other people feel the same way. There are over 27,000 members here and they wear all kinds of brands. Try to have a little bit more respect for your fellow forum members instead of going into their threads and acting like they shouldn't wear what they like just because you think it is 1 of the worst brands ever. In fact why even look at threads discussing brands you don't like? YOU DO NOT LIKE THE BRAND? DON"T WASTE TIME GOING TO THREADS ABOUT IT OR MAKING THREADS ABOUT IT. Seems like common sense to me. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
