I recently bought this item from ebay:

BRAND NEW ED HARDY BELT WITH RHINESTONES ENCRUSTED on eBay (end time 07-Aug-09 10:05:05 BST)

I even asked the guy first if it was genuine... he responded:

Of course, i know the offer may seem too good to be
true, however you can judge from the pictures i have
provided that this belt is authentic.

As soon as i received it, I thought it was a bit fishy....

No packaging, print didnt look quite right, and there are ones that look VERY similar on:

Also, auction was "private" (only just noticed that!!)

I contacted him, he replied:

I am surprised to here that the belt is fake, as i
purchased it believing it to be authentic, which
was also the reason why i had told you the same.
As stated on the Ebay listing, i do not accept any
returns. Perhaps if you had carried out the same
research prior to buying the item you could have
avoided this situation whilst alerting me to it. I
am not sure where to go from here.

Basically, telling me to shove it.....

What do you guys think? Real? Fake?

Soundz ultra fishy that he communicationing like that. Seems weird there isnt any trademark symbol on the Ed Hardy logo either a TM or R. Maybe one of the ed hardy fans here can help you. Goodluck.

Please take photos of the actuall items including close up of the back,front,belt buckle, etc. If it is to be fake then you can file a paypal dispute.

Also for the record

The belts come in plastic sleeves from the warehouse. I would say most sellers who get them this way remove the sleeves when they ship. They are sold in stores w/ out the sleeves .... so it is very likely that most will not have any packaging.
